Sei Watanabe our Tokyo based Managing Director introduces the concept behind the new season ahead..

Welcome to Spring and Summer ’24. This Ukiyo collection represents the world that fulfils pleasure-seeking desires. It’s a collection full of signature elements that make each piece a celebration of individuality and expression and uniquely Yaccomaricard.

We’ve brought to you a collection that takes root in Japonisme and draws from our Japanese art, landscape, and culture from a Western perspective.

The colours of Kabuki theatre makeup have formed our garment dye palette. Japanese hiragana and the woodblock prints of Hokusai and Hiroshige have influenced new pattern and composition on our cloth. Origami folds, and Karesansui gardens have inspired new pintuck and fabric manipulation techniques.

We hope to have brought you a collection full of dynamism that exudes positivity and is a pleasure to wear.

Beautiful for a moment and for a lifetime.
