Fomu Shirt
The Fomu shirt pairs technical precision with soft, sculptural volume. Cut from cotton lawn, the main body is defined by clean vertical pintucks and a softly curved hamline. The silhouette is anchored by dropped shoulders that release into full, dramatic sleeves made from cotton voile and adorned with a textured boutis quilt. Engineered seams and darts create contour around the arms, traced with delicate lines that lift and hold the three-dimensional form. Gathered architectural cuffs cinch the fullness around the arms, letting the cloth sway softly as you move. Finished with a neat collar it balances effortlessly above tailored, wide-leg trousers or fluid skirts. Colour is applied using a garment-dye process, in which fully constructed pieces are dyed to achieve a softer hand feel.
