This series was inspired by the linear patterns, representing water ripples raked within dry landscapes of Japanese Zen gardens called Karesansui.
Appliqued raw-edged katsuragi, a light cotton with a soft handle, is layered upon pintucked cotton lawn to create fluid, undulating patterns.
This lightweight jacket is cut to waist length and features a flattering lapel collar and a single button fastening.
Finished with slanted side pockets and a button cuff with two buttons to adjust the cuff size.
