This series was inspired by the linear patterns, representing water ripples raked within dry landscapes of Japanese Zen gardens called Karesansui.
Appliqued raw-edged katsuragi, a medium cotton with a soft handle, is layered upon pintucked soft cotton jersey to create fluid, undulating patterns. A one-size top, designed without a shoulder seam and cut from a comforting cotton jersey to sit off the body and hit at the waist.
Featuring a slash neckline and a three-quarter length sleeve designed to be fitted on the arm.
